Health.AI: Artifical Intelligence to improve medical care in the Euroregion Pomerania
Greifswald, as a center of science, places a strong emphasis on researching life in all its diverse forms. Life sciences research here ranges from medicine to microbiology, pharmacy, and biochemistry, all the way to ecology and agricultural research. What these research fields have in common is the generation of large, complex datasets, the integrated analysis of which is enriched in many ways by artificial intelligence algorithms.
AI for Life is an initiative of the Greifswald University Club that provides structured access to this research, connects stakeholders, and strengthens the momentum as a platform for cooperation, information, and communication.

Prof. Dr. Lars Kaderali
Lars Kaderali uses artificial intelligence and machine learning methods to investigate, simulate on a computer, and understand biomedical processes, thereby developing new methods for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of complex diseases. He is the director of the Institute of Bioinformatics at the University Medical Center Greifswald.
